  • Beom-Jun Kim is a Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Asan Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Ulsan College of Medicine, South Korea. With an illustrious academic journey that began with an M.D. from the University of Ulsan College of Medicine, he further advanced his expertise by obtaining both a Master's and a Ph.D. in the same institution. His professional career is marked by a progression from an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Asan Medical Center, and then a Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology.
    Professor Kim's dedication to education and research took him to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, USA, as a Visiting Faculty, enriching his global perspective and collaborative research experience. His career trajectory within Asan Medical Center has seen him evolve from an Assistant Professor to his current position as a full Professor, demonstrating his commitment to medical education, patient care, and research.
    Specializing in osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and aging, Professor Kim has contributed extensively to the understanding of these conditions, authoring over 140 scientific publications. His work not only sheds light on the intricate mechanisms of aging and related diseases but also paves the way for innovative treatments and interventions.
