  • Dr Prabal Barman pursued his post-doctoral (DM) training programme in Paediatric Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at the Advanced Paediatrics Centre, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India (Jan 2021 to Dec 2023). This is the first, and till date the only, such training programme in Paediatric Rheumatology in India. He is an active junior member of International and National Societies of Rheumatology (PReS, APLAR, IRA). His research interests include Kawasaki disease, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, paediatric uveitis and primary immunodeficiencies.
