  • Sanghoon Lee is currently an Professor in the faculty of Rheumatology in college of medicine, Kyung Hee University and hospital at Kangdong in Seoul, South Korea.
    He graduated from college of medicine, Kyung Hee University in 1999.
    He was trained internship and residentship of internal medicine in Kyung Hee medical center between 1999 and 2003.
    He received a degree in Ph.D about “PDCD-1 and ankylosing spondylitis” in 2006.
    Since 2004, He has been working and studying about ankylosing spondylitis in department of rheumatology.
    His major interest is ankylosing spondylitis among rheumatic disease.
    He is involved in many phase 3 clinical trials about new drug for ankylosing spondylitis.
    His present research is focused on overexpression of transmembrane TNF-alpha and bone formation in ankylosing spondylitis by tgA86 mouse.
